Most of these photos were taken with Dennis' Praktica MTL5B and expired films that he got from ebay. Another camera he says he uses a lot is his Olympus MJU II.
Dennis says...
"There is nothing really special about my photography I think, I just love to have a tool with me, that is capable of capturing moments of joy, beauty, anarchy..whatever appears magic to me. It's also a lovely way to strengthen one's sense for those special moments and to enjoy them. Since you can not check the result right after you took a shot, analog photography is perfect for that, it feels original."
Dennis also uses a DSLR from time to time as well. On photos 1 and 5 in this set he was messing around with a glass plate and handheld
lens.
Dennis also says that he's more a filmmaker then a
photographer. He recently uploaded his 2012 short film 'Notion' (https://vimeo.com/67039825) and at the moment he is trying to get funding
for his next short film.
