We're particularly attracted to the shot glasses (as collectors) and the lens bracelets, which are pretty much the ultimate in geek chic! With delivery to the UK it would be just over £30 for both of these, so we're trying to work out if it's worth it. Thoughts?

New Cameras!

It's been a while since we posted anything that wasn't a photographer feature, so I thought I'd take you through a few of the cameras I've bought recently.

These were all bought from ebay. I had my reservations buying cameras from ebay at first, but as these were all new ones in the original packaging I figured it was ok!

I originally bought this in purple but they'd run out so I chose a pink one instead. I also accidentally bought 2 cameras but they were very helpful in cancelling one of the orders. A much recommended seller :)

I got the black one, which isn't actually shown on the item listing but they contacted me to find out which colour I wanted and told me they also had black, which is what I went for.

I don't really know what I was thinking when I bought this, I'm never near any water to actually use it! It was an absolute bargain though at only £1.76, and I'm sure I can just use it as a normal camera.

Most of these cameras are still in their packaging because I just haven't had time to go out and take photos. I'm hoping with the long easter weekend I'll have the chance though :)

So that's it for now. There's still a lot of cameras on my wishlist (you can see it over there >>>) but I really feel I should try out the ones I have before buying anymore!

Split Cam

Another camera we at 27 Kodak Moments really, really want! The Split Cam is available to buy from the Lomography online store.

Twin Lens Holga

A super cute little camera for the wishlist, available from the Photojojo store :)

What can your face do?

TIM isn't one to brag (as you can tell by his humble expression), so we'll do the bragging for him. He's the Twin Image Maker, a double lens camera that shoots half-frame and 3-D photos.

Equipped with a detachable color filter flash and a list of features that'll make any film fan drool, he's kind of like 10 cameras in 1.

Half the fun is in his eyes. Shoot half-frames by closing his "eyes" one at a time. Or shoot 3-D images by keeping both open.

And just when he's filled your mind with 50+ shooting experiments, he'll multiply that 10-fold with a multi-exposure button, a Bulb option for long exposures, and a "mouth" that controls aperture.

Tokyo Dreamer Strap.

We want this strap! The Tokyo Dreamer Strap is Japanese and unfortunately (for us Brits at least) it only ships to the USA, but we still love the colour scheme and little pocket for a spare film :)

This National Geographic equivalent comes with 2 pockets, which is a bonus, especially for more lengthy shoots where you might need to carry spare batteries, or an extra memory card if you're shooting digital.
