Marina Faria

This lovely set is by Marina Faria. Check out her Flickr, Tumblr and Facebook page.

Marina has a few Lomography cameras but the one she likes most is the La SardinaHowever she also likes to shoot with a Pentax Spotmatic that used to belong to her dad, which she says is a pretty old one that has no fotometer no more but still takes really nice pictures.  Marina likes to use slide films developed in cross process as it's more unpredictable and she likes the results. She also shoots a lot with negative films, especially when using the Pentax because she can control all the camera settings.

A Stylish Print To Hang On The Wall

5 weeks to go!

These stylish posters, available from PhotoJoJo, would be a perfect way to show off your love of photography but the range of colours also means they would fit well in almost any room. We personally love the pastel pink one!

Alex Hornsby

This set is by Alex Hornsby. Check out his flickr here.

Alex shoots with a 30 year old Canon AE-1 with a squeeky shutter and like seals that he can't bring himself to replace. When it means you get such beautiful light leaks as the ones in these photos, we say why replace it?!

Alex also works for Fire Records, and sometimes he gets to combine this with his love of photography. Great work Alex!

A Little Pet To Take On Your Photography Trips

6 weeks to go!

These are the cutest photography accessories we've ever seen! They're called Lens Pets, and they're made by Mandee Franee on Etsy. There are a lot of animals to choose from, so have a look and see which is your favourite, and they're all custom made so you can even pick your own design!

Giovanni Rovagna

This set is by Giovanni Rovagna (SilentGiova on Flickr)

Giovanni says he doesn't have a defined or well polished technique, but he likes to capture an honest moment. A lot of his photographs range from family reunions, his time working as a teacher, working in short films and even shooting from his car window, and they cover a period of up to 8 years.

Giovanni uses a Zenit EM with a Helios-44 F2 lens that he loads with Kodak 400 ISO film.  He also uses a Canon Rebel 2000, an actionsampler and he used to have a Mamiya ZE. Last year he bought a Canon T2i which he's starting to use more now that he teaches photography. Like most photographers Giovanni always carries a camera with him whenever he leaves the house!

We love the bright, vibrant colours evident in all his photos.

Lisa Smit

This set is by Lisa Smit. Check out her flickr here.

Lisa took all these photos while in Prague but sadly the camera she used died upon her return.

Although light leaks are a blight to some photographers, we personally love them! They add a mysterious quality to these photos, and the city seems simply magical. These leaks are quite extraordinary.

E. Flévaris

This set is by E. Flévaris (flevaris.vac on Flickr) You can also find a full set of links for his other work here.

E. Flévaris thinks of his cameras as his little family – he says they’re a family of 17 all from different decades from 35mm , 120 to 110 and APS and he loves them all!

He likes to experiment with his range of cameras, and doesn’t have a particular technique. E. Flévaris says he prefers old cameras because they always have some slight problems in function that we can’t control, so it's like the camera makes it's own decision.

E. Flévaris’ goal when shooting is to create something that will generate a warm feeling to the viewer, to make them think and feel and dream, and make a story in their own mind.

These particular photos are a visual memory of his last summer in Sweden and the Netherlands.
