Jamie says she doesn't really have a particular technique, she just enjoys taking pictures of subjects she finds to be photogenic and interesting. She has a collection of film cameras but only some are in use like her Kodak Pony 135 (which took the 2nd photo in this set) that she inherited from her grandmother, a Diana F+, and the occasional disposable camera (which took the 3rd photo).
Jamie says that since purchasing her first DSLR (a Nikon D3100) as a present for graduating middle school, she has been prioritising taking digital photographs and portraits. She uses the magic of photoshop to edit them to have the nostalgic, sentimental vibe that film photos provide. There is also a very delicate quality to Jamie's photographs, which we love.
